The “Main Event” for the Arizona Project is located at the Franticus Glass Studio. Glass artist from around the country will collaborate on various works of art to auction for charity. There will also be crucible demonstrations, food, music and a full line up of special guests!

The AZP Party/Auction will take place at Mr. Heads Gallery & Bar. In the center of Tucson’s historic 4th Ave district, Mr. Heads has created a solid foundation for local artist to gather and display their art. Pieces made at the “Main Event” will be up for auction here. There will be drinks, music and live glass blowing too!!!

      The Arizona Project Main Event

We are proud to present the final event for the AZ Project! Glass artist from around the country are flocking to Arizona to be apart of this charitable collective. This two day glass blowing extravaganza will showcase some of the most innovative and highly skilled glass artists in the industry. The Franticus Glass Studio provides a modern glass working facility built for comfort and convenience. It’s newly designed layout is the perfect accompaniment for such an event.

The Arizona Project was created to bring glass artist together as a community. Through collaboration, our efforts can reach further and provide a sense of unity. By supporting our cause you too can participate in this positive experience.

February 1st – 2nd, 2012 12pm-10pm

Single day entry fee is $10

Two day pass is $15

Tickets will be available at the door. There will be food, drinks, music and live glass blowing at this event. All proceeds from The Arizona Project will go to charity.

12/17/2011 The Return To Fathead Glass

Were back at the Fathead Shop for another round of face melting torch work!


During this edition of the AZ Project, were looking forward to another fun-filled night of collaboration. You can expect to see Micah (Fathead), Test 1, BMFT, Yeti, CalM, Know Ego, Karl Taylor, Natey and friends to throw down some of their torch-working skills. Don’t forget to stop by Mr. Heads Bar & Gallery for a tasty brew.

11/19/2011 Project Party @ The Franticus Glass Studio

                         Saturday November 19th, 2011 The Arizona Project is having another exciting glass blowing event! This time it will be held at the brand new Franticus Glass Studio in Tucson, Arizona. With 20 work stations, this party’s gonna be on FIRE! Glass blowers from around the state will be collaborating together to create a vast array of beautiful, functional art. All proceeds from the sales of these items will go to “Integrative Touch For Kids”.

9/10/2011 First AZ Project Party

Come one, come all to the first AZ Project Party at Fathead Smoke Shop on 4th Ave in beautiful Tucson, Arizona.

Fathead, CalM, Brendan, Karl Taylor, Know Ego, Test One and Natey will be throwing down some skills for our first collaborations of  The AZ Project.
